CRADLE DEVICE, AND ELECTRONIC APPARATUS CONNECTED TO THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cradle device for easily deciding whether the cradle device is connected to an electronic apparatus without through a connection terminal and the electronic apparatus connected to the cradle device.

SOLUTION: The cradle device 20 includes the extended function of the electronic apparatus 10. The cradle device 20 includes: a magnetic sensor arranged in a base station 21; a body connection terminal to be electrically connected to the electronic apparatus 10; and a switching part whose one connection is connected to a power supply connection terminal. The electronic apparatus 10 includes a magnet arranged at a position where it is made to approach the magnetic sensor of the cradle device 20 when connected to the cradle device 20 or an extended connection terminal that is electrically connected to the body connection terminal of the cradle device 20. A switching part short circuits connection when receiving an output signal indicating that a magnetic field with prescribed strength or more has been detected from the magnetic sensor, and releases connection when receiving an output signal indicating that the magnetic field with less than the prescribed strength has been detected from the magnetic sensor.
