PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a map display system wherein duplicate input and record of feature information with respect to one feature is prevented. SOLUTION: The feature information corresponding to a feature graphic on which a mouse pointer MP is placed is displayed in a feature information display box. In the feature information display box, a feature name, that is, the name of a building and the names of tenants in the building are displayed. A hyper link is set to the displayed feature names. When a user clicks the feature name, detailed feature information of the feature corresponding to the feature name is displayed in the detailed information display box. When a user operates an input section and clicks a comment input link, an input box 811 is displayed. The user inputs the feature information in the input box 811. Since the user inputs the feature information via a box displayed when the mouse pointer MP is put on a feature graphic, duplicate input of feature information with respect to one feature can be prevented.
