<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a fault at a normal time, that is, at the stop of a motor, without especially rotating the motor for detecting the fault, since the control device of a seat belt retractor is primarily for operation during an emergency. <P>SOLUTION: This motor control device includes: an H-type bridge circuit composed of a plurality of switching elements for outputting AC power to an electric motor; a control circuit which operates control signals of the plurality of switching elements, and outputs them; a first drive circuit which converts the control signals outputted from the control circuit into drive signals, and outputs the converted drive signals to the plurality of switching elements; and a circuit which is electrically connected between the drive circuit and each of the plurality of switching elements and outputs drive signals whichare from the converted drive signals, to the plurality of switching elements. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
