When receiving a reflected wave reflected on an object by its electromagnetic wave, a reflection point of reflecting the electromagnetic wave on the object is detected based on a receiving result of the reflected wave, and the existence of the parking space Sp is determined based on prestored vehicle body dimension data of own vehicle and arrangement of the reflection points.
