PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inform a user about that the life of an electronic apparatus is almost dead or actually dead even when the electronic apparatus has not own apparatus identification information. SOLUTION: When a DC apparatus 102 is connected to a socket section (DC socket 131, plating ceiling 132), a display unit 117 sets apparatus identification information for identifying the apparatus classification of the DC apparatus 102 connected to the socket section according as a user selects the DC apparatus 102 connected to the DC socket 131 by using an operation part from the list of the type of the DC apparatus 102. The apparatus identification information set by the display unit 117 is stored in a DC socket 131. When determining that an elapsed time from the connection time of the DC apparatus 102 or the cumulative time of a power supply time to the DC apparatus 102 has reached a life relevant time, a home server 116 make the display unit 117 or the DC apparatus 102 notify a user that the life of the DC apparatus 102 is almost dead or actually dead, and makes a portable telephone 201 notify the user of the result through a center server 200.
