PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate position adjustment of an optical pupil E in a composition using reflection HOE 23. SOLUTION: When a half value wavelength entire width of an emission intensity peak standardized in at least any one wavelength region isΔλView in emitting light in a video observation state, and a half value wavelength entire width of an emission intensity peak standardized in the above wavelength region isΔλAli in emitting light in only a position adjustment state,ΔλView<ΔλAli is satisfied in at least any one wavelength region. For instance, the above condition is satisfied by lighting a first light source 11a in the video observation state and additionally lighting a second light source 11b wider than emission wavelength width in the position adjustment state. Thereby an arrival area in a pupil position of light of the wavelength region reaching an optical pupil E diffracted in HOE 23 is larger in the position adjustment state than in the video observation state.
