<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a total data transmission volume in data transmission between a display and a controller, and to effectively utilize a band. <P>SOLUTION: This controller for controlling the transmission of a display image data to be displayed on an external display is provided with: a determination means for discriminating a line containing display image data to be transmitted from a line not including it, based on a predetermined set value, when transmitting the display image data for each line by a transmission packet; a packet generating means for generating the transmission packet including at least a flag indicating that the display image data is not transmitted, and a synchronization signal of the line, in a header, for the line determined not to contain the display image data by the determination means, while excluding the display image data; and a transmission means for transmitting the transmission packet generated by the packet generating means, to the external display. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
