UNIT AND METHOD FOR CLEANING COMPONENT USED IN MAGNETIC DISK DRIVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency in cleaning a magnetic disk component in a magnetic disk drive production line.

SOLUTION: A magnetic disk component cleaning device 10 is used in an HSA cleaning line 2 which is provided as a part of the magnetic disk drive production line to clean the magnetic disk drive head stack assemblies. It is arranged between the HSA assembly line 1 assembling the head stack assemblies and the HDA assembly lines 3 assembling the head disk assemblies by using the head stack assemblies, by directly connecting at least to one of the HSA assembly lines 1 and the HDA assembly line 3.
