PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet processing device, capable of preventing pilferage of a paper sheet such as a bill from the device. SOLUTION: The paper sheet processing device has an insertion opening into which a bill is inserted and also has a conveyance path for conveying the bill inserted into the insertion opening. The conveyance path has a first conveyance path connected to the insertion opening and also has a second conveyance path 3B extending downstream from the first conveyance path and inclined relative to the first conveyance path.
