A scroll compressor is provided to separate oil from the discharged refrigerant smoothly and thereby prevent the degradation of reliability due to oil leakage. A scroll compressor comprises an airtight container(10), frames(20,30), a drive motor(40), and a compression part. The airtight container is connected with a suction pipe(SP) and a discharge pipe(DP). The frames are fixed in the internal space of the airtight container. The drive motor is installed on the airtight container and generates a driving force. In the compression part, two scrolls(50,60) make relative motion by the driving force from the drive motor so as to compress refrigerant. The frame has a guide groove(22) guiding the refrigerant discharged from the compression part to the discharge pipe, and is equipped with an oil separator(90) for separating oil from the refrigerant flowing into the guide groove. |
