A secondary battery is provided to prevent the phenomenon that insulation resistance becomes smaller, to protect a welding unit of lead and tap against external impact, and to improve impact resistance. A secondary battery comprises an electrode assembly(10) including a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separator; a pouch case(20) covering the electrode assembly; and a protective film(13) covering electrode leads(12) and tab welding parts. The protective film is a thermally shrinkable polyethylene terephthalate film. |
