METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING PRESENCE SERVICE USING A MANNER MODE

A method and a system for offering a presence service through a manner mode of a mobile terminal are provided to facilitate registration of user state information of a user terminal through a manner mode setting function of the mobile terminal. A manner mode is set in a mobile terminal(100). It is checked whether the mobile terminal is registered to a presence service by operating an application. A user state of the mobile terminal is registered by transmitting the user state to a presence server according to a checking confirmation result.
