An optical film is provided to ensure excellent heat resistance, durability, workability and optical clarity, low haze, and good optical characteristic, and to prevent light leak phenomenon. An optical film comprises an aromatic based resin comprising a chain having the hydroxy group containing portion and aromatic moiety and has a photoelastic coefficient of greater than -3.5 X 10^(-12) m^2/N and less than 60.55 X 10^(-12) m^2/N. The optical film comprises an aromatic based resin comprising a chain having the hydroxy group containing portion and aromatic moiety and satisfies linear equation of content(x) and photoelastic coefficient(y) of the aromatic based resin. In addition, the optical film comprises an (meth)acrylate-based resin including at least one (meth)acrylate-based derivative, and an aromatic based resin comprising a chain having the hydroxy group containing portion and aromatic moiety. |
