PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD AND METHOD FOR FABRICATING THE SAME

A circuit board and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to perform cleaning without the damage of the material for the circuit board by using a CO2 jet cleaner. A raw material(201) for a circuit board is supplied. The raw material for the circuit board is the electrical insulating material. An electro conductive film(202) is formed on the raw material for the circuit board. The thickness of the electro conductive film is controlled by half-etching. A plurality of penetration holes(205) are formed in the raw material for the circuit board with the CO2 laser process. The foreign material, burrs, and a hangover around the penetration hole are removed by a cleaning process using a nozzle(208) for CO2 jet cleaner. The foreign material remaining in the raw material for the circuit board is removed by the etching process using the nozzle for the etching.
