<p>A method for reducing call failure in a call processing module and a device therefor are provided to designate a target board for version exchange of a packet as a standby board, to minimize re-driving of an active board, thereby preventing data loss. A package is copied to boards existing in a call processing(303). The boards are divided into a standby board that does not perform a service and an active board which performs a service(305). A priority of package loading is assigned to the standby board. A package of the standby board is loaded(317). After the package of the standby board is loaded, a package of the active board is loaded. When the package of the active board is loaded, a service of the active board is converted into a service of the standby board.</p> |
