A game system comprises a game machines enabling the players to more evenly play a two-person game by displaying characters having ability values in the game on a monitor irrespective of the numbers of character cards which the players have respectively and a sever device collecting information on the game situation of the game played on the game machines and reflecting the results acquiring by the collected information on the two-person game. The server device has an acquiring section for acquiring the states of use of the types of the character cards in each game, a conversion value calculating section for calculating a conversion value to decrease the difference of the ability values corresponding to the types of character cards according to the type of the character card depending on the amount of use information acquired, and a communication control section for transmitting the conversion values to the game machines. Each of the game machines has an imaging section for reading the type of a character card and an ability value calculating section for converting the original ability values into new ability values. With this, game characters are made to fight by using the converted ability values. |
