SECONDARY OPEN-ANGLE GLAUCOMA SURGERY

FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to ophthalmology and can be used in treatment of open-angle glaucoma. Conjunctival and surface scleral flaps are formed. Rectangular flap from sclera centre is cut out. An external wall of ciliary canal is removed to bare a limbic edge of Descemet's membrane. Scleral space is drained with using a drainage made of hydrophilic polyhydroxyethylmethacrylate material produced by polymerisation with covalently bound immobilised recombinant prourokinase. The drainage can represent a film or gel. If the film-like drainage is used, it is implanted with a spatula, after surface scleral flap is fixed. In case of the gel-like drainage, it is applied on scleral bed and after that surface scleral flap is fixed. Surgical procedure is finished with continuous suturing over conjunctiva. ^ EFFECT: method reduces manifestation of fibrinoid syndrome and improves effectiveness of antiglaucomatous operation, provides a long-term stable normalisation of intraocular pressure. ^ 2 ex
