A method for the postoperative stimulation of the intestine after polytrauma surgery comprises intraoperative administration of Novocain into the mesentery. The catheter 0.5 cm in diameter is inserted into the mesentery and fixed with catgut ligature. The distal end of the catheter is exteriorized via couneraperture to the abdominal wall and fixed to the skin with the silk ligature. |
