PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ear-type clinical thermometer which impose little burden on a subject. SOLUTION: The ear-type clinical thermometer comprises an elastic arm 1 which has, on both its ends, projections 2 and 3 insertable into the ear holes of a subject respectively and has an almost V shape that extends from both the ends to a central part in the direction of the chin of the subject and a main unit 4 formed on the bottom part of the V shape of the arm 1. At least one of the projections 2 and 3 has a body temperature measurement section which is inserted into the ear hole of the subject to measure the body temperature. The main unit 4 has a calculating section for recording and calculating information regarding the body temperature measured by the body temperature measurement section and an informing section for informing an output from the calculating section. A signal line for transmitting a measurement signal of the body temperature measurement section to the calculating section is formed integrally with the arm 1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
