<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion protection apparatus which can maintain the electrolytic protection state of the body to be subjected to corrosion protection even in such a state that the insulation of an insulated joint is defective, and to provide a corrosion protection method, a power device and a voltage generation method. <P>SOLUTION: Disclosed is a corrosion protection method for a metallic long-length material 11 whose outer face is applied with corrosion protective covering and subjected to electrolytic protection. In this corrosion protection method, in the passage of the long-length material 11, d.c. voltage is generated in the longitudinal direction of the long-length material 11. According to the method, by the generated d.c. voltage, the proper potential difference for electrolytic protection is secured on the passage of the long-length material. Namely, an electric current disturbing electrolytic protection can be prevented from flowing into the long-length material.
