PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix the iron core of a motor easily while enhancing concentricity of the iron core and a bearing for holding the rotating shaft of a motor. SOLUTION: A cylindrical portion 20a for supporting a stator core 3 has cushion holes 20b provided at three predetermined positions of the body 20f of cylindrical portion, and protrusions 20c, i.e., portions corresponding to the cushion holes 20b, protruding from the outer circumferential surface of the body 20f of cylindrical portion and abutting against the stator core 3. Transmission of a stress from the stator core 3 press-fitted in the body 20f of cylindrical portion through the protrusions 20c is relaxed by the holes 20b of the body 20f of cylindrical portion. With such an arrangement, deterioration of dimensional precision of a bearing metal 5 holding the rotating shaft of a motor 1A, which is fixed to the inside of the body 20f of cylindrical portion, can be reduced.
