PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve opening detection device whose configuration can be simplified. SOLUTION: A valve opening/closing device applies rotating force from an output shaft 25 to a drive transmission mechanism via an output gear 24 engaged with an input gear 23 by rotating an input shaft 22 by drive of a motor provided in an actuator 1. The valve opening detection device 3 is provided with a detection target section 31 provided in the output gear 24 and a detecting section 32 provided in a support case 11 and detecting the detection target section 31. In the valve opening detection device 3, the detecting part 32 and the detection target section 31 are mounted to the support case 11 and the output gear 24, respectively, so that the detection target section 31 rotated around the output shaft 25 along with the rotation of the output gear 24 is detected by the detecting section 32 from an openingθ11 to an openingθ12 of a valve 6.
