<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink set for inkjet recording and an inkjet recording method obtaining a printed image having uniform glossiness on a photograph sheet (sheet for exclusive use). <P>SOLUTION: (1) The ink set for inkjet recording contains two kinds of water-based ink (A) and (B) of the same color with different pigment contents in the ink, wherein the average particle size of the pigment dispersion particles in the water-based ink (B) with a lower pigment content is larger than the average particle size of the pigment dispersion particles of the water-based ink (A) with a higher pigment content.
