PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sponge brush for oral cavity cleaning which prevents sticking of adjacent brushes to each other and obviates the occurrence of useless consumption and trouble when using the sponge brush by freezing the same while having good water absorption properties, is composed of environmentally friendly biodecomposable materials and exhibits excellent characteristics from use to disposal. SOLUTION: This sponge brush for oral cavity cleaning is provided with a water absorber consisting of a cellulose sponge at the front end of a supporting rod.
