RELAY COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a relay communication system capable of reducing the load due to the operation of a call establishment in a relay communication apparatus.

SOLUTION: The relay communication system comprises: a first communication network in which terminals are accommodated; a second communication network between a plurality of first communication networks; and a relay communication apparatus connecting the first communication network and the second communication network. The relay communication apparatus also comprises: a signaling process function section for establishing a required call within the second communication network beforehand between relay communication apparatuses; an encapsulating process function section for encapsulating/decapsulating a packet so as to pass a call through; a call determination process function section for transferring an encapsulated packet via a call; and a communication control function section for transferring a decapsulated packet to a terminal under management of the present apparatus.
