PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of mounting a brush holder from an end range of a tool housing to an intermediate range entered inward in the longitudinal direction and stably fixing the brush holder at the intermediate range. SOLUTION: A brush holder storage space 141 is provided at the intermediate range in the longitudinal direction of the tool housing 103, and a motor 121 has the brush holder 131 mounted by inserting into the brush holder storage space from a direction crossed in the longitudinal direction of the tool housing. The brush holder has a cylinder section for housing a brush 133, and also has a pushed section adjacent to the cylinder section as one piece. A cover 109 is mounted along the longitudinal direction of the tool housing on an outer surface at one end section of the tool housing, and has a projected ridge section 145 extending in the longitudinal direction in an internal space. the brush holder is pushed in the inserting direction by bringing into contact with the pushed section of the brush holder wherein the projected ridge section is inserted into the brush holder storage space 141.
