PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical operation guide system giving a sense of reliability to a driver and facilitating essential fuel saving by notifying fuel consumption in consideration of traveling characteristics of a curved road and an inclined road. SOLUTION: The economical operation guide system comprises a fuel consumption range computing part deriving a variable fuel consumption range segmented to an economical range, a quasi-economical range and a non-economical range in the order of the magnitude of vehicle acceleration, computing the current fuel consumption, grasping information on a road pattern and a condition from a GPS (Global Positioning System), and adjusting the area of each fuel consumption range in order to induce acceleration or deceleration in advance according to the condition, and a display part showing each consumption range and indicating the current fuel consumption on the range using the information computed by the fuel consumption range computing part.
