<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for synchronizing presence information with schedule information, a presence server and a calendar server. <P>SOLUTION: After a schedule information distributor distributes schedule information, on the basis of the distributed schedule information, a calendar server generates current state information of the relevant schedule information distributor and automatically notifies a presence server of the presence information of the relevant schedule information distributor to be updated. After the presence information distributor manually changes and distributes his/her own presence information, the presence server generates event information on the basis of the received presence information and notifies the calendar server of the schedule information of the relevant presence information distributor to be updated.
