PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that function blocks or modules of an OFDM receiver are generally connected in series with each other, and an output from a function block is transmitted to a buffer related to the next function block; this structure occupies a large space and enlarges a manipulation overhead related to manipulation of an OFDM signal. SOLUTION: The disclosed embodiment relates to a centralized buffer architecture (60) for an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) receiver. This architecture allows main function blocks or modules (70-90) of the receiver to share a central buffer (68).
