PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet structure for washing by the use of swirling water flow which structure causes flushing water to flow effectively to the rear of a bowl. SOLUTION: In the structure of a toilet 31 for washing a bowl 34 using a swirling water flow Q, a toilet body 32 is composed of a skirt 33, the bowl 34, and a rim 35. The swirling water flow Q is generated in a groove 40 by jetting out flushing water from one corner S1 of the rear of the bowl 34 of the toilet body 32. In an area ranging from the position T1 of another corner S2 of the rear of the bowl 34 to the center S3 of the rear of the bowl 34, the bottom face 40a of the groove 40 gradually sinks, so that a swirling water flow Q2 looses its speed to ultimately start dropping in the area. Meanwhile, a projection 43 starting from the position T1 to reach a position T2 is formed to allow the swirling water flow Q2 to keep flowing to the center S3 of the rear of the bowl 34 to guide the water flow Q2 as a swirling water flow Q3. The projection 43 is formed almost horizontally to be integral with the bowl surface 34, with the upper surface 43a of the projection 43 formed almost horizontally to have a width F in a vertical sectional view.
