PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner or a two-component developer in which the toner of a small grain size having a sharp grain size distribution can be formed without needing a classification step, and a longer lifetime can be attained, and voids or scattering in transfer can be prevented. SOLUTION: The toner includes core particles generated by aggregating at least resin particles, colorant particles and wax particles in an aqueous medium, first resin particles in which a colorant particle dispersed liquid in which the colorant particles are dispersed contains a polymer-based dispersant and an anionic dispersant.
