DISPLAY INCLUDING COLOR FILTER AND ELECTRONICALLY-ALIGNED PHOTOELECTRON EMISSION ELEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display including a color filter and electronically-aligned photoelectron emission elements.

SOLUTION: The display can be attained with a matrix of pixels (1). Each pixel (1) includes a plurality of sub-pixels (2) organized in one or two directions of the pixel (1). Each sub-pixel (2) includes a color filter (3) arranged to face to a plurality of photoelectron emission elements (5), and an opaque zone (7) separates the color filter (3). The photoelectron emission element (5) has a repetitive pitch being a half of the pitch of the color filter (3) on every organized direction of the pixel (1). A size of each color filter (3) is smaller than the size of the photoelectron emission element (5) in the organized direction. The display includes a power supply control circuit of the photoelectron emission elements (5) having a means for selecting the photoelectron emission element (5) positioned to face to the color filter (3) of each pixel (1).
