EXHAUST EMISSION CONTROL DEVICE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device enabling welding to be applied to the necessary portions of a casing without obstructing the press-fitting of exhaust emission control catalysts such as an oxidation catalyst and a particulate filter into the casing.

SOLUTION: In this exhaust emission control device, an oxidation catalyst 2 and a particulate filter 1 on a former stage serving as the exhaust emission control catalysts for purifying exhaust emission by passing through the device are contained in the casing 4 in an exhaust pipe. A bulging part 8 so bulged radial outward as to allow welding distortion and rear beads 7 is formed at a position where the oxidation catalyst 2 and the particulate filter 1 on the former stage of the casing 4 are held and welding is required.
