<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC distribution system that can suppress the deterioration of the conversion efficiency of an AC-DC conversion device provided in a distributed power supply even in a light or heavy load. <P>SOLUTION: The AC-DC conversion device 1 has a characteristic that its conversion efficiency becomes maximum when a predetermined value Wa is lower than rated output power Ws. Therefore, the AC-DC conversion device 1 can be operated with the conversion efficiency near the maximum value Wa even in the light load. Furthermore, the AC-DC conversion device 1 can be operated with the conversion efficiency near the maximum value by supplying electric power with other distributed power supplies 2, 3 even in the heavy load.
