<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress fog during toner supply, in a developing device that supplies toner from the outside to a storage section storing toner to be carried on the surface of the toner carrier and in an image forming apparatus and toner supply method. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device includes: the toner carrier 501 for carrying charged toner on the surface thereof; the storage section SC storing toner to be carried on the surface of the toner carrier; and a mixing section 510 that receives replenishment toner supplied from the outside of the storage section, takes in, as circulation toner, some of toner stored in the storage section, mixes it with the supply toner, and supplies the mixed toner to the storage section SC. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
