PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable hard disk drive (HDD). SOLUTION: In the HDD, the solder used in the solder joint 19 connecting the pad 151 of the head slider 15 and the pad 212 of the transmission line 21 contains Sn as the main component and 15 to 27 atom% of indium. The solder has a gamma phase in the range of -150 to 120°C. Thus, the solder joint 19 does not break even when the HDD1 is left at low temperatures for a long time period.
