MANUFACTURING APPARATUS AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF PREFORM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing apparatus and a manufacturing method of preforms for achieving good moldability of the preforms and excellent productivity. SOLUTION: The preform manufacturing apparatus 1 comprises a female mold 10 and a male mold 20. The female mold 10 has a cavity 13 composed of a bottom face 11 and lateral faces 12 which are inclined so that an aperture area decreases toward the bottom face 11. The male mold 20 has an upper face 21 which contacts the bottom face 11 when the mold is closed and a plurality of lateral faces 22 which face the lateral faces 12 of the female mold 10 with spaces between them when the mold is closed.
