Variable omni-directional wheel and device using the same

A variable omni-directional wheel and a device using the same are provided to convert easily into a general wheel mode and a general wheel mode by controlling the gap of a pair of wheels. A variable omni-directional wheel comprises: a pair of wheels(220) arranged as a support to be parallel; a plurality of bars(210) connected to a pair of wheels; and a wheel driving part(230) adjusting the gap of a pair of wheels. The wheels and the bars are integrated and function as a wheel to move instrument. A plurality of bars are arranged along the circumference of the inner side of the wheel.
