<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid device capable of reducing the cost with a simple configuration and sufficiently reducing impact noise even if an operating environment changes or mechanical loading varies, an automatic document feeder equipped with the solenoid device, and an image forming apparatus equipped with the automatic document feeder. <P>SOLUTION: The solenoid device 1 is provided with a plunger 36, a solenoid 43 for displacing the plunger 36 and a drive control part 57 for controlling the drive of the solenoid 43.
