The blister package (1) has lower sides (2) fully separated in such a manner that an edge-sided marking (3) is separated and/or packaged drug portions (4) are unconcerned in a protection area in an oval-shaped drug reservoir (8). Predetermined safety distances to the drug portions are maintained. A new date of expiry and/or a batch number is printed on an upper side and/or one of the lower sides of the package. Adhesion of labels and the lower sides of the package takes place. An independent claim is also included for a method for separating a part of a drug blister package.
