摘要 The present invention is provided to overcome problems of a conventional apparatus using information of two or more images to improve reliability and accuracy of corrected data, in which the amount of calculation increases as the number of images increases, the conventional apparatus cannot be used in a surveillance system using a single camera and accurate correction points cannot be estimated during estimation of correction points when outlier components are dominant in an image or when line components for the estimation of the correction points are insufficient. The present invention provides an apparatus for controlling formation of a 3D space model through 3D camera correction in a single image, the apparatus comprising: an image coordinate conversion algorithm engine unit (100); a correction point estimation control unit (200); a 3D camera correction control unit (300); and a 3D space model formation unit (400), and also provides a method for controlling formation of a 3D space model through 3D camera correction in a single image. Accordingly, the apparatus and method for controlling formation of a 3D space model through 3D camera correction in a single image can reconstruct a 3D space model based on measured 3D information using a single camera or a single image, can be easily applied to an existing installed surveillance camera, thereby improving compatibility and an application range by 80% compared to the conventional technology, can perform robust correction even when auto correction is difficult to perform due to lack of image information or excessive texture noise, and can generate high-quality 3D space model data compared to a conventional apparatus only using line components. In particular, a 3D space model can be formed in a specific space or specific object of a corrected single image, thereby enabling actual distances at all locations in the image to be calculated. Accordingly, an actual size, moving speed, and moving direction of the specific object can be measured, thereby improving a surveillance region and a tracking range by 80% compared to the conventional technology.
