PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutout capable of simplifying work of attaching and detaching a fuse, even with an opening part surely blocked, and to provide a cover for the cutout. SOLUTION: The cutout equipped with an opening part 11 for inserting a fuse X through in order to mount a fuse X inside a main body 1 or for taking out the fuse X mounted inside the main body 1 includes a cover part 21 for blocking the opening part 11. The cover part 21 includes at least one cover piece 22, with one end side fixed to the main body 1, the other end side of the cover piece 22 is displaced against the main body 1 as it is biased in a direction into which the fuse X is inserted, in order to release the opening part 11 in letting the fuse X inserted, while, the other end side displaced is to recover as the biasing is released in order to re-block the opened opening part 11.
