ANTI -COLLISION LIGHT FOR AIRCRAFT

An anti-collision light for aircraft comprising two illuminating modules (5,6,7) each comprising a number of LEDs disposed along a ring and coplanar to a plane (10), a first reflector (15) facing the LEDS and a second reflector (17) surrounding the LEDS; the first and the second reflector are so configured as to reflect the light emitted by LEDs toward angles between 0 and 75° above or below said plane (10). An additional module (7) providing infra-red radiation is may be provided; the additional module (7) comprising number of infra red LEDs disposed along a ring and coplanar to a plane (20) and a reflector (24) facing the infra red LEDs.
