<p>The invention relates to the cooling of an x-ray generator tube. A tube comprises mainly a vacuum chamber (10) containing a cathode block (11) supported by an insulator (20) and generating an electron beam (15) that strikes a target (14) forming part of an anode block (12). At the present time, only the anode block (12) is cooled and nothing is provided for cooling the cathode block (11). According to the invention, a collar (30) fastened to one end (22) of the insulator (20) is provided on the outside of the tube and enabling the cathode block (11) to be cooled. Advantageously, a hydraulic circuit conveying a coolant provided for cooling the anode block (12) is used to cool the collar (30) by flowing through it.</p> |
