PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment system capable of reducing the deterioration of water quality of treated water when starting water feeding to a treated water storage part. SOLUTION: The water treatment system 1 is provided with a water treating part 4 removing impurities in raw water, or reforming the raw water, and the treated water storage part 7 storing the treated water for feeding the treated water treated at the water treating part 4 to a demand part 2 on a water feed line 3. At the starting, the water feed line 3 between the water treatment part 4 and treated water storage part 7 is closed, treated water returning operation returning the treated water between a closed part 10 and the water treating part 4 to the upstream side of the water treating part 4, and/or treated water discharging operation discharging the treated water to outside of the system, are performed. When the water quality of the treated water between the water treating part 4 and closed part 10 reaches the target level, the treated water returning operation and/or treated water discharging operation is stopped, and the treated water is fed to the treated water storage part 7.
