A method for searching a route using a traffic lane and running speed and a device for the same are provided to indicate a user of the researched route from a secession point, if the secession of the route is determined. A method for searching a route using a traffic lane and running speed comprises: a step of generating a turn point at the driving route(S240); a step of determining entry availability of the turn point(S250); a step of searching again and storing a second turn point, if it is determined that the entry of the point is not possible(S260); and a step of displaying the second turn point if the entry of the point is not possible(S280). The turn point is one of a crossroad, hub spot, bifurcation, underground road way, IC entrance and exit or JC cross point.
