A multi-speed reduction gear is provided, wherein a first reduction step is configured as a planetary gear (8), having a drivable first sun gear (22), further having a plurality of pivotally mounted first planet gears (20) in a first pivotally mounted planet carrier (10), the gears meshing simultaneously with the first sun gear (22) and a likewise pivotally mounted first ring gear (16), wherein a second reduction step comprises at least two pinions (4,6), which both mesh with a large gear (2) at different locations on the circumference, and of which a first pinion (4) is rotatably connected to the first planet carrier (10), and at least one second pinion (6) is driveably connected with the first ring gear (16) via a gear step (12, 14) that reverses the direction of rotation. According to the invention the large gear (2) is configured as a stator, thus in a stationary manner, and the drive is formed by an assembly, in which also the pinions (4, 6) are supported such that the pinions revolve about the central axis of the large gear during operation in the manner of the planetary gears. |
