The system has a peripheral seal (3) arranged in a receiving space (4) that is formed in one of a set of clutch parts (1, 2) and is defined in an axial direction (X-X). A compensation volume (11) is provided in the seal for reversible or irreversible increase of an axial length of the seal. The compensation volume is provided by a ring arrangement (10) arranged in an opening (9) of the receiving space. The opening lies opposite to a ring step (7) in an axial direction and is connected with the clutch parts for forming the receiving space in a form-fitting and/or force-fitting manner. An independent claim is also included for an assembly fixture for a connecting system, comprising a pipe.
