THE PLUG-IN TYPE HEALTHCARE GATEWAY

A plug-in type healthcare gateway is provided to require no power supply line without modifying any software/hardware of present network equipment in a ubiquitous home healthcare service. A WPAN(Wireless Personal Area Network) module(303) receives data sensed by a WPAN sensor. A first converter(305) converts the received data unit into serial data. An Ethernet module(307) converts the serial data into the data capable of TCP(Transmission Control Protocol)/IP(Internet Protocol) communication. A network connector is connected to a universal network gateway to transmit the converted data to an Ethernet server.
