A method for controlling a black box in a display device and an apparatus thereof are provided to embed a black box in the display device, thereby storing execution records in the black box. A black box(160) stores execution information. When a function for controlling the operation of the display device is performed, a controller(170) stores information about the function in the black box. The function is an internal function for controlling an operation of the display device. Information about the function comprises an execution time of the function, a function code and display state information of an execution time point. |
